This piece was a collaboration between ourselves and the enormously talented animation director, Pete Candeland.
We were commissioned by him to design and conceptualise the characters that would form the second part of the “Beatles Rock Band Cinematic”. This was a dream brief in which we had complete freedom to develop the type of marching band that would play later Beatles songs. In the spirit of such an incredible brief, we thought it appropriate for our characters to be at a surprise boat party, cruising in the Bahamas, drinking festive cocktails and wearing straw hats!
